after first stumbling into newgrounds over a decade ago, I'm so happy to finally be giving back to the site that originally inspired me to make games in the first place :) keep up with me on twitter! @austinweast

hey y'all! its been a couple of days since my little jam game BASS MASTER ONLINE was released, and im so happy with the response! its been reviewed fairly well, ive been hearing stories of friends getting to play together during these tough times (which brings me a lot of joy), AND its been front paged!! that one has been a dream of mine since I was pre-teen, just dreaming of making video games (all the way back in 2006!), so im excited to say the least.

Ive also gotten a lot of feedback about how hard it was to actually catch a fish! I totally agree with the criticism, so in response to that, Ive just updated the game with some new visual effects that'll hopefully make it easier to figure out when to reel. Now when a fish is nibbling, you'll see the water ripple and some little poofy particles come out of the water. Hopefully this helps folks become the BASS MASTER they were born to be!!

P.S. im looking for ideas on what to do with the game once the jam is completely over. What would you like to see in future BASS MASTER ONLINE updates?
